TESTIMONIAL THURSDAY: DENVER SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL

Share:

It’s Testimonial Thursday and you know what that means. Time to share a little something from a happy client. We are always excited to hear that our clients are pleased with their purchase and we are proud to keep leading this industry. We would love to see your pictures of your canopies in action!

This week we shine our spotlight on another hometown client, our friends at Denver South High School, one of the iconic directional schools in the capital city, with a rich history & a promising future.

“I can say that the KDs are super impactful graphics on indestructible frames”.-Denver South

As they mentioned, their KD frame is “indestructible”, we make them to last. That means Denver South’s canopies are ready to help them show off their school spirit for years to come. The bold white & purple colors of Denver South catch everybody’s eye as they pass by at local events.

Denver South’s history dates back to Denver’s earliest days. Opening in 1883, it was originally built to serve elementary through high school students. It wasn’t until 1926 that Denver South High School was built separately by a prominent Denver architect.

Ever since, Denver South has produced numerous successful graduates including former Archivist of the U.S., Robert Warner &  Congresswoman Diane DeGette. South’s success obviously doesn’t stop there!

2017 was a very exciting year of graduates for Denver South. They earned nearly $6.5 million worth of scholarships, had the most college signees in school history,  they raised Denver Souths graduation rate by 11%, had the highest Advanced Placement scores in school history and they earned three Boettcher Scholarships (a prestigious CO based scholarship that allows winners a “full ride” to any in-state university). On top of all of this academic success, their athletic department had a year to remember as well. Their track athletes broke the Denver Public Schools records & qualified for nationals, the girls’ soccer team had the highest GPA among high schools in the state, and the cross country, track, football teams and cheer squad were all DPS League champs!

Their school pride runs deep & for a good reason. We are proud to have them as a client & look forward to another successful year. Go Rebels!
